Rare clone of Saperavi. Has a nice nose of nuts, caramel, mineral, strawberry, raspberry. The palate is rich and full of red fruits with some dirt and leaves.
The Saperavi comes from an organic vineyard in Manavi, also in Kakheti (500 metres above sea level). Saperavi Budeshuri is a type of Saperavi with white flesh and more aromatic intensity. This red wine spends 15 days on skins with no stems and just over a year in qvevri.
