Another outstanding wine by Elisabetta Foradori. Black cherry, gravel, smoke, licorice and dark spices are fused together. Intense, plush and inviting, it needs decanting. There is plenty to like and even more to look forward to. The eight months spent on the skins in an amphora (tinaja from Villarobledo, Spain) retain and amplify its distinctiveness.The Sgarzon is a complex, fabulous wine all around.
