Welschriesling Weingut Muster Sepp BIODYNAMIC

Product Description

This complex wine remembers one of the lush green of summer. The animating acidity is well interwoven with its partner, the lime marl soil. A fresh and invigorating wine for cheerful company.

Welschriesling is often called “Breadwine” by southern styrians and has been grown there for ages. This one is being produced from vines on a clay soil mixed with blue lime marl. The vineyard lies on an eastern slope of the estate.

Harvest by hand, grape selection in the vineyard, destemming and grape crushing, no filtering of the must, gentle pressing over a period of 4 hours, spontaneous fermentation (no clone yeasts) in large oak barrels, minimal or no use of sulphur, 1,5 to 2 years aging in large oak barrels.
