Ripe but fresh with sweet black cherry and berry fruit. Quite Pinot-like. There’s a lovely stony, mineral undercurrent to the supple cherry and berry fruit palate, finishing very mineral, unencumbered by oak. Drinkable and quite delicious.

The vineyards are farmed organically whilst vinification uses wild yeast fermentations, foot treading and low sulphur usage, in general handling of the grapes and production is deliberately and meaningfully ‘old-fashioned’.
