Llum is a blend of Grenache Gris and Maccabeu, grown in eleven small parcels of 70 to 100 year-old vines. In the glass, the wine has a limpid, saturated lemon yellow color with flashes of pale green and bright gold. There is a fleeting suggestion of hyacinth under the ripe green apples and Asian pears, along with fresh cut grass, chamomile, and crystallized honey on the nose. On the palate, the wine is vinous and full-bodied, with gorgeous flavors that echo and magnify the beautiful floral nose, all seasoned with satisfying saline minerality.
