A dark cherry red in the glass. A delightful nose of rich dark fruit and sous-bois (forest floor) with a touch of black licorice. Medium-bodied on the palate with a definite mineral streak running through the earthy, black fruit flavours. A very well structured wine with fine tannins and a lingering finish.
