A pale and shimmering hue, and the nose is very mineral with a stony, oyster-shell character, nuanced with floral and light citrus scents, along with a twist of white pepper. There is a lovely substance to the palate, which shows quite a pure citrus-oil flavour, a fine definition and really a great character.
Based south of the Loire Valley, Domaine Pierre Luneau-Papin sits atop the sunny slopes overlooking the Sèvre et Maine district in Le Landreau. 45 hectares of vines are grown here with Melon de Bourgogne being the prominent grape variety.
